Whalerock is Marko and Petra Balenovic. A creative team, double act, and husband and wife in our spare time, our fascination with people and passion for natural beauty drew us both to photography. Marko joined Petra on her personal photography project in Zanzibar in 2008, and combined his photography skills with her graphic design to create unique, original, beautiful work. SKILLS Graphic design – brochures, reports, logos, posters, magazines Photography – street photography, documentary, landscape, still life and commercial photography Picture editing/post production SHARING Marko helps hobby photographers reach their artistic potential in his basic photography courses. Petra co-founded Flame Tree Media Trust in 2001, to provide training opportunities to Tanzanian photojournalists. OUR WORK We work side by side with our clients to make sure our work reflects their vision, and add in our own artistic perspective to create distinctive work. We seek out beauty in unexpected places.
