  • Enter your username and password.
  • Click “Login Now”.
I’ve lost my password. How do I reset it?

1) Click on “Login” in the header.
2) Select “Reset Password”.
3) Type your registered email address and click “Reset Password”.
4) You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password.

How to post a free classified ad?

1) Click on “Submit Ad” in the header.
2) You will be asked to login if not logged in already.
3) Once you are logged in, choose a category of your choice.
4) Scroll down and select a sub-category.
5) Fill in all the ad details. Remember to upload images to make your ad stand out.
6) Under “Select Ad Post Type”, choose Regular.
7) Select “Publish Ad”.
Your ad will be published after it is reviewed.

How do I opt for premium ads?
Where will my premium ad be seen?

Your premium adverts will be seen on the Home Page, Premium Adverts page, Pricing pages and on all the side banners on our website. These are the most visited pages and thus ensure that your ads get maximum visibility and exposure.

How can I pay for premium ads on your website?

You can pay using VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, M-Pesa, Airtel, MTN Cash, Vodacom and Tigo Pesa.

For magazine adverts, we also accept Bank Transfers.

How do I get you to publish my ad to your magazine?

For classified ads, all you need to do is post your ad on our website and it shall be published in the next upcoming magazine. For paid magazine adverts, email us on info@advertisingdar.com with your artwork.

I cannot find a category which suits my ad. What should I do?

Based on your main category, you can publish your ad in the Miscellaneous or Other category section on our website. Or get in touch with us on info@advertisingdar.com and we can advise you better.

I'm interested in working with you. Are you offering any jobs?

No, Advertising Dar is not offering any jobs at the moment. If anybody calls claiming to be from Advertising Dar and has a job for you, please do not entertain them.

Who can advertise on your website and magazine?

Anyone can advertise with us from businesses, working professionals, homemakers to students.

What can I sell?

You can sell anything as long it complies with our Terms and Conditions.

What is not allowed on Advertising Dar?

Monday afternoon is the deadline to submit all adverts.

How do I contact a seller?

You will find the contact details for the seller on the right-hand side of the page. Alternatively, you can also use the contact form on the right side of the classified ad section to send your message.

How can I take prevention against fraudsters?

It has come to our attention that there are Conmen who are using and abusing our publication to cheat and steal from people. They will call or text and ask you to meet them, then persuade you to pay a certain fee before filling the forms for a vacancy. After receiving the payment, they disconnect their numbers so there is no way to catch them.

Please do not respond to such calls; they are not genuine.

Job Seekers: Please insist to be interviewed in a known office, try to get the right telephone numbers, preferably a landline, the exact name of the company and the person in charge. Do not pay any advance fees to fill any forms unless you are contacted by recruitment agencies. Do not schedule a meeting in a dubious place or respond to any beepers.

Property Seekers: Please try to get the full details of the landlords/agents, such as full name, photocopy of an ID/passport, title, deed, bank account, exact location/address of the property prior to making any payments.

Car Rentals: Do not respond to anybody who will try to convince you to agree to a higher rental and split the difference.

What is your refund policy?

Once a payment has been made, we do not issue refunds for any reason.

In case of any discrepancies caused by our team, we shall compensate in the form of adverts. We do not give cash back as refunds.
